The Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad continues to operate on a budget that is mostly supported by donations. Expenses include medical equipment, vehicles and vehicle maintenance, building maintenance, uniforms, and more. Click below to donate. 

AVRS provides standby ambulances at community events along with Hanover Fire-EMS. If you have an event and would like an ambulance on standby, please click below to fill out the appropriate form.

Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad has a rental hall that is open to public use for various social events and functions.

The Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad is one of four rescue squads in the Hanover County Fire-EMS system. We take pride in being the busiest of the four rescue squads, and one of the busiest districts in the entire county. Our station designation is Station 16.
